AI integrations and workflow automation

We automate repetitive tasks and connect AI tools to existing systems. The starting point is a specific job and the data needed to do it.

Discuss the work

Define the task first

We establish where the data comes from, what needs to happen to it and where the result should go. Clear rules can often be implemented with a regular integration or scheduled task.

We consider AI for text processing, classification or drafting. We agree which results need human review and what happens when the source information is incomplete.

Connecting the workflow

The tool may use an API, a data import or a function within an existing application. We discuss permissions, the data sent to external services, request volumes and running costs.

Failures need a plan too: error handling, retries and a job log make it possible to see what has been completed and where review is needed.

Start with one defined job

A useful first stage covers one task with real examples. We check output quality and exceptions before extending the automation. To scope the work, send a description of the current process and the systems involved.

Common questions

Does every automation task need AI?

No. If a task can be described precisely with rules, conventional code or an integration is often sufficient.

Will someone need to check the output?

That depends on the task. AI output can be wrong, so consequential actions need human review and clear rules for exceptions.
